Dress Code
Beach wear is fine for the beach, but Casual clothing is appropriate during
the day and for evenings and at most restaurants.. There are no nude or topless
beaches. Casual jacket and tie
and tie is normally worn in more formal restaurants in the evening.

Bird watching
This was my favourite past time in Tobago,
from a tour through the rain forest with Harris ( more later), or re tracing
David Attenborough's steps filming " The Life of Birds" on Little Tobago
watching the nesting Red Billed Tropic birds, the Island is a bird watcher's
paradise.
Giles Islands, off the north tip of Tobago, is a protected breeding-ground for
the magnificent Frigate bird.
Customs
Travellers cheques and credit cards are accepted by most establishments. For
Customs and Excise purposes only cash is accepted.

Summer: EST (Eastern Standard Time), equivalent to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)-5
hours; Winter: EST+1, GMT-4. Daylight savings time is not observed in Trinidad

Currency & Money
The TT dollar ($TT) is the national currency, although US currency, travellers
checks, and credit cards are widely accepted. ($6TT = $1US).
Passport/Visa
Passports needed by citizens of Canada and the U.S. Sufficient funds and proof
of onward passage required by all. There's an airport departure tax of TT$100,
payable in cash. Reconfirm travel document requirements with your carrier
before departure.
Tipping
Most hotels and restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill. If it isn't
included, tip 10%-15%.
